All of them show up on my own, but on other user profiles typically none will show up, or only a couple from a month ago.

I think you have “hide read posts” turned on in eternity app itself. I was having the same confusion and ended up double posting by accident because my profile in eternity showed empty. So check, not in lemmy profile, but in the eternity app.
I do not. Even posts I haven’t looked at don’t show up.
