Unlike traditional bows that use the tension of a string this design is based on pneumatics.
It has a pre-charged pneumatic cylinder that gives several consecutive full power cycles and is simple to load and cock for quick follow-up shots. The hollow-core arrows allow the compressed air to pull them from the front, instead of pushing from behind with a string, eliminating the flex and wobble in the first part of a traditional arrow’s flight.
Its 375-grain arrows deliver up to 300 foot-pounds of energy.
I kinda want one
For $700 it’s yours kid.
P.S. I want one as well.
Cool but at that point why not just use a gun? The pneumatic cylinder effectively limits the amount of shots you can take even if you do recover the arrows, which eliminates a big advantage a typical crossbow has over a rifle.
Unless of course I’m missing something big this (100% possible) seems more rule of cool then actually useful.
It would also be a lot louder than a normal crossbow
Pretty sure that will penetrate body armor. At least the soft body armor that most police wear on a day to day basis.
Its legal even in contrys with strict gun laws.
