Is opening lemmy links within the app, instead of opening it in a browser, planned?

I saw a post that was a listing of a bunch of lemmy communities & the Reddit counterparts for them. I was going to click some & follow them, but it opened the browser & it wanted me to login again. I’ll look up the post.
