For some reason my profile on lemm.ee has lost all of its subscriptions, save for one (android@lemero.id). Some additional weirdness to help troubleshoot:

  • This doesn’t affect my lemmyworld account
  • logging in via web UI and other apps has my subs as appropriate
  • viewing the frontpage shows properly subscribed communities
  • I’ve tried clearing cache, storage, uninstalling, and reinstalling and the problem persists

If I can provide any more detail to help in diagnosing please let me know.

I’m experiencing the same exact issue with my lemm.ee account. I also have the same problem in Thunder and switching profiles to my lemmy.world account “fixes” the issue in both Thunder and Connect. Jerboa and Liftoff are still displaying subscriptions normally.

Yes I suspect that it might be a instance related issue. I’m getting loads of weird sync issues for the past 3-4 days.

The comments I’m seeing in my subs vastly differ depending on which instance I’m logged in.

I was having the same issue yesterday/last night, lemm.ee only as my lemmy.world account was properly showing my Subs.

Got on this morning and it seems to have cleared up, so maybe it was a hiccup? Glad to see I wasn’t the only one though.

I had the same issue, do I grabbed the latest update, now on 1.065, then went back into the app and the subs were still missing.

Then I swipped to get the left slide out and hit the three dots next to my username at the top, then tapped my username in the menu that dropped down. This refreshed and all of my subscriptions are appearing again.

Glad to hear that fixed it! It sounds like an API issue in that case as switching users will force refresh the subscriptions from the server.

This doesn’t seem to work for me. Does anyone else have a potential fix? Only my new subscriptions are absent though. My older ones show up just fine. In other apps, all of my subscriptions seem to load fine. It’s just Connect where some are missing and new subs do not appear.

I was just trying to sub to this lemmyconnect community and it doesn’t seem to let me, says subbed but doesn’t show in the side bar and if I close and reopen and check community details it shows me as unsubbed

The more time passes by, the shorter my sub feed gets. It’s now down to only two subs 😂

Like you, it doesn’t seem to affect my “front-page” feed, but since they are gone from my subs feed, I can’t browse them easily

Is this also on lemm.ee? I’m thinking it’s possibly two things: either an API issue affecting some instances or for some reason some subscriptions aren’t showing up.

I’m getting the same thing on sh.itjust.works tried reinstalling the app, but no luck in getting my subscribed to show. Apparently we are on BE: 0.18.1-rc.10 if that helps

Exact same issue earlier, the ugly sub that was appearing was the one I’m a mod on. I even tried to post a bug thread on here and it went there instead. It’s berrytube@lemmy.digitalfall.net I’ll edit this post to insert the link.

Stuff seems to be maybe fixed? When I was experiencing the bug, I was using Mozilla VPN while at work because my work wi-fi is blocking lemmy.

Edit3: wow I can’t even link right. Is this some sql fuckery on the server side???
