    Never was.

    Organic means “grown without chemicals”.

    It’s a statement against pollution and nothing else

      But what the hell is a “chemical” everything is a chemical

      I used to work at whole foods and we had to do training on the meaning of the organic label. In a survey 94% of responders listed the reason they prefer organic was no pesticides. However organic produce is still sprayed with pesticides

        Not in Europe. Organic is by definition grown without use of artificial and harmful products like pesticides and herbicides.

            Pesticides are used in Europe, sure. But to be able to market a product as organic there are actually pretty extensive regulations
