Logseq supports properties on both the page- and the block-level.
How do you use them so structure your knowledge?
I have templates for various regular meetings that I attend. In these templates I have a property called “attendees”. In each template I pre-populate that with names of folks who are regular attendees. Then I can edit it to catch the attendees on that specific day. This helps me when I search for a person’s name it pops up with the meetings they attended.
Thanks, I’ll have to look into templates then 👀
In general I don’t use properties as much as I could. Mostly to set tags, alias, and sometimes icon, but there are some exceptions where I have custom tags. For blocks I never think to use tags. Not sure what the use case is, but I’m sure there are some good ones.
I’m also not sure why anyone would need properties on blocks 🤔
