There is a lot we can do but it might become a bit spammy if we add too much. Some ideas would be:
- Monero ecosystem releases (Monero, GUI, Haveno, Serai, etc) either in a special releases community or the regular Monero one
- DarknetLive posts to the darknet community
- Crypto news to the cryptocurrency community
All of these feeds are of high quality and shouldn’t completely spam us.
What do you think? Any other suggestions?
Nice! No need to go to reddit at all now. Maybe also a r/monero mining mirror.
Pin the message about monero.town + auto comment all new posts to move to the town
I don’t think people would like me “abusing my mod powers” on reddit that way 😅
I’m kind of getting inundated with Reddit posts now lol. It’s gonna be excessive looks like. I hope you plan to make that one a separate user, some of us want to forget about reddit altogether.
I’d say, keep a news user that shares news (Revuo, monero observer etc), keep a separate reddit user (or even separate ones for different subreddits) and then a third one for software releases.
Sure, so people can mute the reddit rss user while still keeping the more important feeds 👍
Seconded. I like having < reddit sperging and a higher caliber of debate here, but would appreciate being able to view some of the content. Right now this place is shaping up good so don’t want it to go spamwards.
Appreciate the effort @admin@monero.town !

I’m not sure about that one, it get’s a lot of posts / spam and usually I only ever look at the posts for a quick glance at the comments. Is it really that valuable without them?
I like the monero ecosystem releases in a seperat one. I have some of the releases already my personal rss feed but it would be nice to have a place I can refer others to.
Also it might be a good idea to post the release automatically to the normal monero community. Not sure about that one.
So the main Monero releases in the Monero community and the ecosystem in its own? That sounds very reasonable, thank you for the input!
