I wish the article had better support and citations, but I find the story to be fascinating anyway.

    I first read about this several years ago, and back then the conclusion was mass hysteria.

    Looks like they updated it now with the theory that her self-injected medication had a freak chemical reaction to the hospital. That’s more plausible.
