If I open an image in connect for Lemmy, I’ll often want to zoom in and explore the photo for details. If I navigate to the edge of the photo while zoomed, the photo/post closes automatically.
This is a really frustrating behavior. Anyone else experiencing this?
Hi, this issue should be fixed in the beta (1.0.97) and will hopefully be rolling out today!
I should add that double tap to zoom doesn’t work either, which seems to be a pretty common functionality of zooming into photos in places where zooming into pictures is possible. I have to pinch with two fingers.

It is frustrating. I’ve put a heavier case on my phone it’s so frustrating.
Edit: Still early on. Things are improving with each new release.
Yep, same here. Seems like dragging the edge of the image onto the screen acts as “swiping the image away” and closes it. Normal behaviour but probably not intended.
