I briefly looked into the friend suggestions feature yesterday, and I found out it is probably broken for non-frio themes.

As it stands, it looks to me like it would be more costly to fix it than to scrap it entirely, with the added benefit of making Friendica a little bit leaner.

I’ve never used the friend suggestion feature, for the same reason I’ve never used the poke feature that we also removed: it barely is an improvement over a regular message, for a lot of added complexity.

What do you folks think about this feature?
