Log out/sign in into new account, Settings > Backup > Restore from backup. Since all the backup does is save local user settings, it won’t affect any accounts or anything like that.

Quickest way to deal with this is Settings > Backup > Backup now. Log out/sign in into new account, Settings > Backup > Restore from backup.
Since all the backup does is save local user settings, it won’t affect any accounts or anything like that.
I haven’t used sync in years so I didn’t know this is how it always was
