Right, that’s the tension that is interesting. That he’s profoundly mad/mentally ill, and has a position of immense celebrity, and is a genius or former genius-- to see his ability or inability to express himself creatively despite his deteriorating health and his pathological need to pursue fame/infamy (a self destructive urge which he foresaw as early 808s; which figuratively/poetically resulted in the death of his mother from a botched plastic surgery, which further isolated him, and so on)
