Imagine reacting like this every time you see or hear someone from Burgerland.
You can just book a flight ticket, no?
No, the U.S. and the PRC both require visas to visit each other
Yes, of course, but one does not need some sort of permission in China to travel outwards, only a visa from the destination country. At least in the Youtube comments it seems like China would prohibit anyone from leaving, which is certainly not the case.
Yeah, I got it, just wanted to point out it’s not that easy :)
Actually you can visit China visa free if your are visiting for less than 14 days. I’m pretty sure the US is on that list of countries
The U.S. is not on the list, and the US doesn’t provide visa-free access to Chinese citizens except to the Northern Mariana Islands. Without applying for a visa, US citizens can visit visa-free for 144 hours transit or via the Hainan Visa-Free Program.
Ah, fair dos. I thought the US might have been added along with that bunch of other Western countries as part of a recent push to encourage tourism to China
Makes sense but I think the U.S. would have huge political ramifications (and also might result in more BS articles from 🇺🇸🔥)
