It almost looks like light shock, how long has it been outside? How often do you fertilize? When was the last time it was repotted? How often do you water, and does the soil dry out between waterings?

Late Stage Capitalism@lemmy.world•In the United States, roughly 30% to 40% of the entire food supply goes uneaten and they'll fire your ass if you try and take any of it home
28·30 天前I worked at McDonald’s one summer in college… used to carry out the bags of mcchickens and shit to throw away after shift. It wasn’t hard to toss the bag over the dumpster and out the back of the enclosure for later collection…if one was so inclined. McDonald’s fed me that summer, and it wasn’t the fucking pennies they were paying me doing it.

Green Energy@slrpnk.net•Unreasonably pleased when I can charge from excess solar

But it’s always a great feeling when you hear the “please set your thermostat to 80°” pleas and then look at your solar aray sending 6-8kW back to the grid and go “No…I don’t think I will”.

Oh yeah… not sure I’d handle a blast of cold water first thing in the morning very well though
How much does it draw under load? I ask because I’ve always wanted one of these, but I’m on solar and batteries so I have to monitor load and usage a bit more closely than most.
I’d be curious to hear if this impacts your energy usage in any appreciable way.

82·1 个月前Left a job of 10 years, project lead senior engineer, because fuckers FAFO’d an RTO. Of a team of 5, I was one they expected to stay because I was “close to the office”. I was the first one to find a new, full time remote job.

I would do a bit of research, figure out a fertilizer regimen for it and see if that doesn’t green it up. Increased light with no increase of nutrients will sometimes cause them to yellow like that. You can get soil tests at most hardware/lawn and garden stores. You might grab one to go with the fertilizer so you can keep an eye on it and don’t burn it.
