@Welp_im_damned@lemdro.id as it seemed the previous ping didn’t went through
@simple@lemm.ee as it seemed the previous ping didn’t went through
Test 2: @Blaze@lemm.ee
It went pretty well, we are now established on !casualconversation@lemm.ee, the activity level seems similar. If we lost people in the process, they were probably not using Lemmy that much anymore, and where probably “ghost subscribers” of the previous community.
By the way, feel to have a look at !fedigrow@lemm.ee, you seem to be an active poster, it would be nice to have your opinion on a few topics
I just had a look, unfortunately aussie.zone isn’t federating the community yet, but you can have a look at the discussions here: https://lemm.ee/c/fedigrow
A bit late to the party, but feel free to have a look at this post: https://lemmy.world/post/13967373
Hello,
FYI, this community will be locked tomorrow, feel free to recreate this post on the new community !casualconversation@lemm.ee. Of course, you don’t have too if you think the topic has been discussed enough.
Thank you for your message
Basically, create a new one one the new instance, and tell everyone to move there.
Posts will be kept on the old community, but due to the nature of this community, it shouldn’t be an issue. People are mostly busy with current topics, I don’t really see people coming back often to old posts about what everyone was doing on their week-end a few months ago.
I would like to move the !casualconversation community to another instance (detail in comments)
I would like to keep the !casualconversation community on lemmy.world
I agree with migrating the !casualconversation community to lemm.ee
You have been banned for 7 days. This is against the first rule of our community “be respectful”
Hello, this user has been banned for 7 days. Sorry about this.

Mod jumping in. Sorry to have missed the reports, most of us were asleep when they happened.
Thank you for everyone who reported harassing comments. We are going to have a look now, and probably ban a few people.
See you around.
Hello everyone,
Mod jumping in. As per the sidebar “Rule 3: Avoid controversial topics such as politics or societal debates”. Locking this thread for now, thank you to the people who reported it.
Have a good one.
I am against moving the community to Reddthat.com (please free to detail why below)
@mozz@mbin.grits.dev for the football threads
