Hal – It’s the Sims, except focused on one guy called Hal.
Super Sash Bros – They’re all fabulous and they love to parade about in their sashes!
Dragon Ball Xenverse – A couple of Saiyans find themselves in the Borderworld and help Gordon Freeman send the Nihilanth packing.
The Matrix: Path of No – You take the blue pill. The end.
I listen to music or podcasts while cycling to/from work everyday, but at low enough volumes that I can easily hear traffic around/behind me. I would not recommend it if you’ve just started cycling, but if you’re comfortable enough on a bike in city traffic it should be okay. And wear a helmet, at the very least.
Had a huge Northern Kings phase a couple years ago. Damn good stuff.
Time, the Valuator covered Lovely as well. Pretty fucking amazing.
Bantamweight’s haunting cover of Nirvana’s Heart Shaped Box is sorely underrated in my opinion.
ERRA’s versions of Audioslave’s Light My Way and Muse’s Stockholm Syndrome.
Art vs Science’s psychedelic-funk cover of Enter Sandman featuring a sweet as keytar solo.
Sleep Token’s heartwrenching unplugged version of Hey Ya!.
And finally, Denzel Curry’s supercharged version of Bulls on Parade. I didn’t think the track could sound angrier but he’s gone and done it.
Bonus: Andrew Hulshult’s Hell March, featuring chainguns as percussion, Master Boot Record’s Doom E1M1 metal chiptune remix, and GeoffPlaysGuitar’s argent-metalized Halo Overture.
@BabushkaCat No worries, it’s all good, gemology and materials science is so fucking cool and I’m really delighted you’re studying it
Thing is, star opal isn’t… real.
The GIA seems to differ. They’re rare, but they’re definitely real, and they’ve been found in Thailand.
On balance you’re very probably correct that her ring isn’t star opal simply because of how rare they are, but still, slight YTA for jumping to conclusions immediately without taking a look at the stone first.
I think you mean uranium glass. It fluoresces bright green under UV light, very cool – but the uranium is added on purpose, for coloration
