Well, yeah since Cameron was the one who introduced the legislation.

I downvoted because rent control is an idiotic idea that just reduces housing construction.
No, we used to call them Cyclocross.

Oh come on. “Studying” 5G and anti-vax conspiracy theories is hardly in same league as the stuff Faraday was researching.

there’s no such thing as “wasted” research
Oh my sweet summer child.
Cool story bro. Curious how Greta didn’t mention any of those events to the embassy staff…,
Swedish diplomats have the right to visit Thunberg,
Swedish diplomats did meet with her, as did a lawyer.
there are all sorts of pressure tactics they can use, if her welfare is danger.
In danger from what…bed bugs? Prison food?

In the entire city of Denver, there are just 4 red-light cameras operating.
Since Greta waived her right to immediate deportation and chose to remain in detention, I’m not sure what you are expecting the Swedes to do.

Because CBS News was the original source. They interviewed her, and saw the original letter. All the other sources merely report second-hand info.

The program being cut was for electric grid upgrades and H2 projects. There was not a single “e-bike lane” project being funded.
Definitely the latter.
Berkeley was not only the first city in America to use racist zoning to prevent lower-income and non-whites from moving into wealthy neighborhoods – but the Elmwood district was the first neighborhood in the city to receive such treatment. That 1916 plan persists basically unchanged to do this day, with the Elmwood having the highest percentage of white residents in Alameda County. The State is acting well within its obligations to put a stop to such policies.
This has nothing to do with historic preservation. Berkeley has even gone so far as declaring a parking lot as historic to block construction of an apartment building.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but the full naval blockade only started with the Hamas takeover.
Enforcing a naval blockade during armed conflict is not illegal.
(and I now await the downvotes…)

NCTD in San Diego recently had a meeting about a proposed H2 railcar project for the Sprinter line. The H2 fuel costs are running 4-16x more expensive relative to what was originally planned. So nice to see scarce public transit dollars funding H2 research 🙄
Kordia first entered the US in 2016 on a tourist visa and obtained a student visa the next year.
In 2021, her visa was terminated for lack of attendance. She applied to have her revoked visa reinstated and was approved later that year. But she again failed to attend classes, leading the feds to again terminate her visa in 2022.
I see a Mod censored my earlier post. Let’s see how long they allow this reply to stay…
