I know the feeling as someone with ADHD. There are many things that I want to go but cannot for the life of me motivate myself to actually do them.

No problem! It can be very confusing when you’re first getting into manga trying to figure out how you move through the panels. Once you get the hang of the ideas though most mangaka nowadays have been pretty good at laying out their panels to kind of draw your eyes naturally through the page in the order you need to go.

Basically the priority is to make as many unbroken right to left lines across the whole page as possible. You don’t generally move down unless you’ve reached the leftmost edge of the page. Notice how here if I draw lines across the panels to show the path my eyes take and read 12 before 10-11 my reading line is going to run back into the line I made already? So you read 9 and go to the next line, considering 12 to be part of that lower line so that your reading lines don’t intersect.

Kind of, yeah. Though if a larger panel is on the right rather than the left you consider the top of the panel rather than the bottom. So like if you swapped 12 with the 9, 10, 11 cluster it would just be 12, 9, 10, 11.

You tend to finish the right to left line to the end of the page before moving down any. So if 2 panels are in the same “line” like 2 and 3 are, then you finish out that line before moving down. In a case where one panel is larger and spans multiple lines it’ll generally be laid out to belong to it’s lowest line if it’s on the left side of the page, or the highest line on the right side of the page. So since 12 covers both the line with 9, and the one with 10 and 11 on it you’ll generally read it as belonging to that lower line and it’ll be 12.

IMO it’s probably most likely an overzealous bootleg detection system hitting a false positive or someone selling a really convincing bootleg.

Don’t get me wrong, Nintendo absolutely wants to kill the used market. Iirc multiple executives have been on record voicing opposition to the used game market. But I definitely think it’s more likely that they got a false positive on the “is this game pirated?” detector and nuked the console.

The thing that gets me is they’ve apparently done multiple rounds of “correcting” Grok for being too “Woke” and it just keeps happening!

My understanding of the actual tabletop lore is that basically for every decent ripper you’re likely to encounter as a player there’s easily a dozen that are like what you describe.

Cynically that means that the spoiler effect might actually work in our favor if he does go through with it. I’m not gonna hold my breath for it, but it would be so funny if Musk’s ego actually leads to the Republican party splitting and losing because they can’t decide how many poor people and minorities they want to throw into a wood chipper.

They’re supposed to have different tastes? I’ve tried several different kinds of rum and vodka along with a Buddy of mine buying some Crown Royal Black to share with me at my 21st and I couldn’t tell the difference between any of them. I could tell the difference between a few of the different beers I’ve tried but none of them tasted anything like they were described to me.

Coffee and tea both do it, but both depend on how strong they’re brewed and are generally easier to push through than any alcohol I’ve ever tried. Espresso though is vile no matter what. Salad generally is fine though depending on the vegetables used certain ones are more powerful than others. Like lettuce on its own has this weird finish to it and that’s the extent of the unpleasantness.

As for alcohol I’ve had a few different kinds of rum, whisky, vodka, a few different wines, and basically I can’t tell the difference between anything that isn’t the wine. It’s like once it hits a certain proof all I can taste is the alcohol part.

I’ll see about giving that a shot then.

I’ve tried wines like that before. I apparently have that gene where you super taste bitter and it just tasted like flat LaCroix mixed with paint thinner.

I probably won’t be able to tolerate it then sadly. I’m super sensitive to bitter flavors that’s seemingly why alcohol is always so unpleasant to me. I’ve tried so many drinks that even friends who barely drink at all say they can hardly taste the alcohol that all tasted just vile to me. Thanks though!
