I’ve played through levels by myself. I think there are one or two monsters that have coop-specific mechanics but I don’t think they lock you out if you’re playing single player

Edit/update: apparently the next patch will make sure coop monsters don’t show up unless you have enough people

Right? I told him at one point they basically flipped the hard switch with several of their design decisions.

That said, I don’t think it’s always been just the two of them. I don’t know specifics and it’s sounded like it’s been small the whole time regardless. I just don’t want to mislead or erase some of those people’s labor you know? I think at the very least they had more people under contract for 3D modeling and graphics. I can ask if people are interested to know.
