George R. R. Martin should finish his book so that we can see if it’s actually an issue.

Stop. Danny Masterson was not a senator :P
You don’t want to over-comment though, otherwise people will just start ignoring all of them.
Just @ me next time, I guess haha
Own the libs by showing them we can do whatever illegal shit we want!
I can’t wait for him to reveal all of the republican ballot box stuffing that was happening in favor of him haha.
I’ve been using Gearset for Salesforce CI/CD for a while and it’s pretty simple to get up and running and it just kind of works. I’m looking into integrating it with Azure for our .net stack but not sure how smoothly that will go.
Fuck, are you me?
The fourth wall is a term used in film/theater production where the viewer sees the production as a “room” with 3 visible walls (think of any time you’re watching a show take place in a house/apartment). The fourth wall is where the viewer sits and is invisible to the viewer, but the characters in theory would expect it to be there and act like they’re in a real place. Breaking the fourth wall is when a character acknowledges either the audience or in some other way interacts directly with the viewer’s reality as opposed to staying constrained to their own universe.
So, for this meme, Anakin (1st panel) is acknowledging that he’s being filmed even though the character should have no idea they’re even in a piece of film.
Wait, why do I see a picture of a shittily managed network stack instead of the comic?
Because licensing is complicated and likely they are not the sole owners of all technology involved in doing so and there’s no perceived benefit for them to do that unless they feel like they can make money on it somehow.
When this happens, I make as much noise as possible to make it obvious to whoever they’re speaking with that the person is talking to them in a bathroom.
You think that Moses personally knew all the Jews? That’s racist :P
Regardless of the politics surrounding abortion, Facebook chat never claims to be encrypted nor secure. Users should be aware that their chats are available in this capacity and should also be aware that platforms like Signal exist which are encrypted and secure.
The worst bosses I’ve ever had were highly technical people put into those roles because they were perceived to be the best with those skills. There was repeatedly little-to-no regard for their soft skills and working for those people was miserable.
Things come and go in cycles. There was a time when Fark, Digg, MySpace, LiveJournal, etc. were all a big thing and then they slowly went away or declined as something new arose in its place. I think a lot of the more tech-savvy users of Reddit will migrate to various fediverse instances and that you’ll see other microblogging platforms arise to fill the void of Twitter, a la Bluesky. You’ll still have somewhere to go, it just may not be the place you were used to going to.
Also, nothing in the article says the money wouldn’t be taxable income for the recipients so I guarantee they’ll get screwed with taxes by both the federal and state government come tax time.
Knee-jerk reaction: I want to know why municipally-supported telecom monopolies are still a thing… hmm??
Ghost of Tsushima has a very great soundtrack.
I also really appreciate all of the sea shanties in the various Assassin’s Creed entries, but especially Black Flag
Dog’s gotta teet?
