IKEA was founded by a swedish nazi, and I can’t find anything about it being worker owned. The owner is IKEA itself, but it’s pretty vague wrt anything beyond that. As far as I can tell you can argue it is run by workers, but workers do not hold any ownership. Seems like it’s a regular stakeholder/shareholder situation.

I’ve never had any issues with IKEA furniture wrt longevity. My issue is worker practices and the environment
