SpontaneousCombustion@lemmy.worldto Books@lemmy.world•What book(s) are you currently reading or listening to? August 121·30 days agoYour comment has me convinced. I tend to read sci-fi but have been “classic curious” for a long time. Had been eyeing Silas Marner for a while - it’s now next in my list (after I finish Use of Weapons by Iain M. Banks).

Putin went there with an agenda. Trump blew hot air about sanctions if there wasn’t a ceasefire, and 3 hours in, he’s parroting the Putin line. Trump has dementia- he shouldn’t be in charge of an ice cream van.

I’ve read the entire series, and decided to re-read. Just completed Consider Phlebus yesterday and it was as good as the first time I read it.

Signed up and paid for Deezer but it doesn’t work with my vpn (Mullvad) so I cancelled.
Now I’m in a similar situation as others in this thread - looking for a non-US music streaming, other than Spotify :-)

This looks promising. I’m in Ireland - we’re always the last to get these (too small a country!)
One to keep an eye on - thanks for that.

There are a few, but tend to be only at a national level.
I haven’t but now that I know, I’ll definitely check it out - thanks
