I’ve got a similar set of stages but mine also include:
Wondering if I should just restart at a new location, feeling intensifies when looking at the spagetti.
Walking away looking for hard drives for three hours.
Spending hours detailing a pipeline/belt system.
Realising that the last extension of my factory wasn’t hooked to electricity/raw inputs, thus aggregating issues with previous stages.
We are all built differently, my dad still plays to this day the settlers 4. Not even the history edition, but the one I installed (from CD!) for him a decade or more ago. Don’t know how he does it.
Why does everyone assume books equals novels. The books loaned might have been text books or even journals.
I often built one big tower on stilts with empty ‘maintenance’ floors in between factory floors in which I hide lots of spaghetti. I often have had a mall (subject to change now) and usually set out to built part X, get the raw resources needed and cram it all on one floor of the tower.
I have also previously abused the fact that you can use trains to get under the water line. Deep enough under it and you won’t get damaged. Have built myself an under water base a la bioshock. Was great fun.
Now in 1.0 I have set up my main base and I am considering options of where and what to do. Just got my trains and will see where it takes me.
I’m currently over-engineering the starter base, I plan for tubes, increases in throughput, change of input requirements due to alternative recipes and separating the power grid to be able to toggle specific parts on and off. I soon want to produce reinforced iron plates…
Have currently the milestone for coal selected and am about half way. But my doggy collection grows I am at 5 dogs now.

I find it extremely unsettling, this tactic. It could have hit anyone and I think it should be condemned. Just imagine the outcry if Russia should have done that in the Ukraine.
I think it makes the shooting worse.
They said it’s cracking down on crime within the train / subway system of which checking fares is a part. So they don’t have them there to just check fares but their job is to reduce and prevent crimes and while they there they check for fares.
One guy skipped fares, he had a history of mental disorders and law violations, and their best course of action is to shoot him, and some bystanders. The fact that both officers shot the guy, with sufficient bullets fired that random bystanders can be hit. Their aim is dog shit.
Naive hopeful me: maybe they will use it in the way it’s described. For gathering ideas, developing concepts. Hopefully a character generation tool. Where it leads you through step by step and keeps track of all things. Probably not gonna happen. Probably they use it to write the damn rule books with them including art.

To be fair, they do use the same language often enough when reporting about police shootings. Which does not make it any better though.

Tbh both. I gather from posts around the issue that Denuvo sucks ass / is not that popular. So now I wonder, why choose to include something that is apparently unpopular and why do people think it is dumb to include.
Whats the deal with Denuvo?

The ‘I’m sorry’ stuff gets even more on my nerves when I set 3 base rules for the whole session and it has forgotten about them in the very next prompt.
Would count as en exclave and the map states they ignore those, because let’s be honest they’d really make this difficult.
