What did that poor astromech droid ever do to you?
I think it’s just that the characters’ creators are all dead.

Since you already financed the bridge, you can use all those rupees to power your magic armor now instead!

Dammit Jim, I’m not a Roman dictator!

I wish GP mode had a classic mode option, though, instead of “get to the track and then do a single lap”.

At the beginning of the game, you’re told that Earth was overrun by monsters, and your character is part of a task force intended to take the planet back. Partway the game, it’s revealed that in the past, there was a machine rebellion that got interrupted by the monsters appearing. The end of the game reveals that all the humans in the game (including your character) are actually robots, because after the machines wiped out the original humans the survivors turned themselves into monsters for revenge.

That doesn’t necessarily mean a sequel though. I mean, yes, this trailer could actually be taking place in the Colony, but aesthetics don’t really match Eidos 7 and the spaceships that we see in the game.

Either there’s a major timeskip, because where the fuck did this cyberpunk metropolis come from given the original post-apocalyptic setting, or this is a prequel kicking off the apocalypse.
A good question! For another time.
If you’re someone that loves the prequels because you watched them as a kid, how do think it’ll be in a decade when kids that watched Rise of Skywalker start posting to web forums?
A decade? You mean in 3 years? Those kids have started posting on the internet already, and they still don’t give a shit.

Well, it is the 30th anniversary this year, so I guess Tomb Raider Anniversary Electric Boogaloo shouldn’t surprise me.

When I read the blurb for the game, I didn’t think they meant actual Lovecraft, so I was kinda surprised when Dagon and the Marshes of Innsmouth got explicitly referenced. There were a couple parts where I was expecting to get attacked by abominations, so I was quite relieved when nothing of the sort happened. All in all, I have to say that I quite enjoyed it. And it’s not a long game at all, really, so you can probably power through it in a day.
…Did Neo have an active social life? Admittedly I haven’t seen the movie in forever, but IIRC he didn’t have much going on other than work and being a hacker.
But… That’s not a square…

Becerra is also former AG, ie a cop.

It’s entirely because Miyamoto thought that right-handed players would have their immersion broken if they swung their Wiimotes with their right hands only to see Link swing the sword with his left. Incidentally, this is also why SS and BotW have right-handed Links. Some bullshit lefty erasure, if you ask me.

Apparently also literally the only person in the world to actually care about him as a person. That tribute she put out after his assassination would have been quite touching if I didn’t know they were both utterly shitty people.

Another Crab’s Treasure
That ending hit me way harder than it had any right to.
Okay, I wasn’t expecting that punchline. You got me there.
They were trying to hide their relationship, though. Any talk of hypothetical Skywalker kids would have raised the question of who the mother would be, which leads straight back to Padme, so Anakin absolutely would not have ever brought the subject up. Unless he was high as a kite on painkillers, maybe.
