BTW I grew up in a country between the NATO and the Warsaw Pact, so I was there and I saw it all. If I had to jump in a plane and go live in the USA or the URSS I wouldn’t have hesitated a second, no one would have. Russia boats/ships/buss people from Africa to the Finnish border while simultaneously doing “immigrants Violent & bad” psyops is what I meant as using immigration as war.

After peristroika we was relieved not because you were friendly with the US/ Europe but 1) no more hot or cold war (you’d be surprised how we saw Russia from our side, an agressive dictatorship on our border basically) 2) A shot at democracy/freedon for the russian people (that they blew.)

For the rest I’m quite on board, with some caveats ofc. We need a government because everyone can’t know everything, we need trusted people to run our schools, hospitals, nuclear plants and so on. For the rest? Yeah bring that power down to the people!

Well a win for Russia means taking Ukraine, and that’s extremely unlikely, basically the USA have to help Russia out or something.

Also, I don’t count the Russians propaganda wins as wins (a wheat field here, a bombarded village there…).

That said, I sure do hope Europe continues to arm up and support Ukraine, and one can dream about US help ofc.

You are totally wrong though IMO when it comes to costs, check this startup out if you are curious, I don’t know how they collect their data but their aim is to bring cheap heart scans to the world. You might have an IT team (IDK) but not at each hospital, and probably those things could be standalone if extreme cost savings are needed, otherwise you’d like them connected so when there is a potential problem the real doctor can take over.

If done well, training AI on this kind of data could be a good thing. It could make say your smartphone (for example) tell you that you have a problem, be used as a first diagnostic and so on. Invaluable in countries where doctors are scarce for example.
