So you can have a portable device with a larger screen than your phone? For general media consumption?

Using them? I can understand not getting cracked screens but I think avoiding scratches entirely especially across multiple phones would be a significant feat unless you just really baby your phones.
No it doesn’t. Also you can just relock the bootloader. Google doesn’t care.
I think that’s Samsung. The Pixels don’t have a fuse AFAIK.
Well depends on why you’re unlocking the bootloader. Some people just want root but not necessarily a custom ROM. Though for some phones a custom ROM may be more appealing than others.
Replace it when your daily battery life starts becoming unacceptable or if the battery itself starts swelling.
What DE/WM are you using right now?
From what I understand, Google One had its own persistent notification (left side) when using the VPN as well as the normal key icon (right side). So now it just has the latter.
It disappeared for me too a while back.
For Android, having apps ask for permission for notifications is a very new feature (debut in Android 13 I think) so by default apps notifications were collectively permitted. It would be up to the user to explicitly go in and disable notifications after the fact. I think many people either didn’t know how to access the notification settings or just didn’t care enough to disable them.
It’s not as powerful as root but it does give you more capabilities. You would need to check the individual app for what functionality and limitations it has with Shizuku.
I agree with you but it’s not that uncommon for apps to lack a built-in backup method. I tend to root my phones precisely so I can backup their data.
Compete in what sense? I feel like the weakness of Android tablets is more on the software and app side.
What would you even want on the Arch homepage? The closest to a “default” Arch install would just land you at the TTY login/prompt. It doesn’t have the same out-of-the-box experience as other distros like Linux Mint or Fedora or even Debian.
So how do you migrate app data? Or do you just not care about that? Because for some people it is important.
You won’t find any ad blockers in the Play Store. The best you can do is a browser with built-in ad blocking or an extension.
Otherwise if you want an app, you’d have to sideload it.
So what price do you think the 8 Pro should sell at?
And what price do you think would be good for a 8 Pro and Pixel Watch bundle?
At some point the 8 Pro would be sold at MSRP and without the watch which would be the worst value. And you would have to wait a long while for the phone to drop in price the value of the watch.
What will happen to the existing 2FA setups?
So has the app been put back since the issue was fixed?
