8 months ago@mozz @readbeanicecream @Dasus this is a gross oversimplification and they did not all die. Their descendants who were not killed or kidnapped by Europeans still live there today. Jared Diamond was far off the mark as usual.

@mozz @readbeanicecream @Dasus @archaeobrett I’m sure he is knowledgeable about some things, but he writes big sweeping simplifications of archaeology, in which he has no training nor any subtlety of thought.
