Nintendo are horrible to consumers but at least they understand the value of their staff. That’s something I value more from a company. (depending on the extent of their anti-consumer practices, nintendo have definetly gone too far with their’s)

Steam already does stuff similar to this? Reviews flagged as “suspicious” aren’t deleted but aren’t included in the overall score instead, and a notice is put next to the overall score when this happens. The same is true for reviews made by people who got the game with a key.
Why not extend this? Like you said, most bots have low play time, valve could exclude (but not delete) reviews with low play time. I agree that doing something like this is a slippery slope towards mobile app store reviews but if it’s done right then it is a net positive.
The main problem is that those reviews are still included in the overall review score. I think you can filter out low play time but that’s an extra step most won’t take (because they shouldn’t need to)
I might have bought more switch games if Nintendo made the switch actually usable by fixing drift on their controllers. I would be playing Nintendo games (I legally own) on my switch instead of emulating them but I can’t.
Yep, I think I counted at one point and half of the photos on my phone are pets
It probably got turned into a black hole through the same method everything else happens in this series:
Magic. In the baseball video he specifies that magic is what causes stuff to happen, after the magic, it’s all normal physics
The other commenter is right, but another problem is that our homes and cities are designed to trap a lot of heat in. So while it might say 25C on the weather apps, it can get up to 40C inside. Come to the UK during the summer and you will understand.
What the fuck, it isn’t satire? And other sites are writing articles on it?
It currently applies most to the game and tech industries
Putting this in a seperate comment because it is unrelated but that is a completely acceptable reason to hate part 2. (Like most good stories) it’s not made for everyone.
I think the reason you (and others who dislike part 2) were (wrongfully) labeled as a bigot is because most the hate for the game came after the leaks and before the release, so all people knew was that
They’re killing off the male main character, that’s so woke!!!
and all reasonable criticism that came after were unfortunately assumed to be in that group.
Was trying to avoid spoilers (even though most people know the scene, but some don’t) but I forgot about spoiler tags (probably because they only work half the time in boost)
Joel’s death
Excluding steam because even playstation release exclusives on steam now, Starfield is (was? I don’t know if it released on ps later on) xbox exclusive. Out of Zenimax’s library, that is probably the game that you would want the least as an exclusive but at least it is something (they needed something after spending US$7.5 billion on them)
From what I have heard, that scene wasn’t adapted very well into tv
Typing your own code manually? Unheard of!
I really like this game, but… yeah
I’ve seen a lot of content creator groups become a lot more diverse since covid/among us. It’s great to see!
They’re $110 in canada? That’s insanely overpriced? How much more is that compared to regular AAA games? I could understand people justifying the price in the uk, mario kart world costs £67 digitally (including tax) which is CHEAPER than call of duty and “only” £7 more than a regular AAA game and the new donkey kong is cheaper than AAA games digitally (but only £59 vs £60). I think the games are overpriced in the uk, since they will never go on sale, but $110 is ridiculous.
I know just enough German to be more confused by this than if I knew no German at all
I get this and when I used windows I’ve had issues with kernel level anti-viruses, but why anti-viruses before anti-cheats? Surely an AV’s kernel access is more important then an AC’s access?
