I agree about them being a lot of filler for a lot of things (really depends on the channel and the topic). That Disney Fastpass one was really good, and really made me glad that I only went to Disney World twice back in the early 00s when the passes were much simpler. Was shocked but not surprised to see how fucked they made it into. If you have to pre-plan what you want to do each hour of the trip, it really takes all the fun out of shit (and really fucks anyone that hasn’t been before not knowing anything). It is impressive how much joy the min/max crowd get out of the current system, but really sad all at the same time.

The only mostly gaming long-form YT docs that I get excited to see pop-up are from Down the Rabbit Hole. I was not prepared to actually get interested enough in learning about EVE Online to sit through a 6hr video (broke it into a few chunks). I went to check out some other ones to see what others have made, and even with much much shorter run-times they weren’t as interesting.

Also recommend “The Story of the Internet Hero Who Grinded to Level 99 in the First Area of Final Fantasy VII” from Cybershell. Pretty funny watch all about a guy that grinded out getting Cloud and Berret to level 99 in the first part of the game. All because of spite. Only a 18min run-time.

All I can think about with all the masked fascists (aside from them being fascists) is how basically all of them loved to not wear masks during the main Covid stuff. All claiming that they “couldn’t breathe” with them on, and how antifa and sheep wear them and should be banned. Would be awesome if some folks were able to soak them in pepper spray before getting passed out to the fascists. Would be pulling those shits off real quick, and maybe do some damage to their lungs. Good to see. The US is trying to both be THE superpower that controls the world, while also being isolationist. At this rate we might be able to see places like DPRK and Cuba be able to trade with more nations that have only really avoided doing so because of fear of losing access to US trade. It would be awesome to see what the so called “hermit nations” could do with the opportunity.

Well then, it seems that it would be good motivation if more people are able to find ways to force the bots to give deep discounts on things. Just another example as to why companies tripping over themselves to force AI into everything without doing the real work of actually stopping this shit. It is almost like the whole point of “No Child Left Behind” was to make sure this would happen. I think that the pro-privatization of all gov ran departments have been making sure to defund and overwork the staff of those departments/services in order to have shit like this and the drops in literacy. That way they can get mass support for removing all services/departments to cheers. Just like how they have constantly been trying to ditch the USPS because it “isn’t profitable” (even though it shouldn’t be treated as a for-profit “business”). Or like how they make sure stuff like 9/11 or other “terrorist attacks” scare the masses to strip rights and over-fund the MIC.

PotD can be effective, but only if enough conditions get bad enough for the majority of people are hurting bad enough. The pressure has to be built-up to the point that the normally “I’m not a political person” types have personally been fucked over badly enough. Otherwise they are able to be kept in line by corpo propaganda about how “evil” the person(s) are for being violent. Law and order and all that.

If by chance that second vid had anything majorly impactful. I would hope that he had other accounts on as many other outlets set to get it out. YT is the largest outlet, but also proven time and time again to be easily banned/suspended for waaaay less. I have also been thinking it has something to do with a new Switch. Maybe to try and scare people off from trying to get similar things going on the new console. Though we all know that lots of hackers will be trying to get hands on launch consoles since they tend to be the easiest to get working. I mean, at least it will make lots of money from development of the new console get made back faster for Nintendo.
