  • Hint: not a double standard.

The imperialist West is scrambling to remain the world‘s hegemonic superpower, with the US as the big dog and the EU as its ideological vassal.

Using Ukraine to overexploit their resources and as a battleground to weaken Russia. Using Venezuela to overexploit their resources and to weaken resource-access for China. Using Israel as an unsinkable aircraft carrier in West Asia towards China. Using Taiwan as an unsinkable aircraft carrier in South-East Asia directly off the coast of China.

The only double standard is the cognitive dissonance in our propagandized heads.

Thanks, I prefer my shitty take over your scrubby narrative rehash without actual grounding in reality. Not sure how it helps calling everyone with dissenting perspectives a tankie makes any sense. Surely only, if you’re actively trying to remain ignorant and keep your indoctrinated mind at ease.

That‘s not going to work. It‘s capitalism and here specifically the German economy in crisis, no significant tech or industry is left, that would still be relevant in the medium to long term.

Like the US they‘ve been counting on fossil fuels for far too long, are crashing their last big industry, automotive, because of it and are now escalating towards war economy in the hopes to claim new markets and keep the economy up. They’re already one of the main suppliers for Israel and Ukraine.

Rheinmetall is growing fast, forced labor was already being tested and is on the horizon for the jobless in general. All while the war ministers are drumming up public support for a preemptive war against Russia. The military is heavily supported and financed, while the social infrastructure is being systematically destroyed. Propaganda is in full swing and dissenting voices (journalists, press) are being sanctioned with very questionable reasoning. Once war is imminent or already on, people will be forced to work for companies such as VW, only then to build stuff for the war machine. Fascism is knocking, German imperial ambitions are back.

Meanwhile, all major parliamentary parties are in on the war frenzy, even the left (die Linke) to an extend, but CDU (conservatives), SPD (social democrats), AfD (far rights, potentially part of the next goverment) and even Grüne (neo-libs with a green tint, lately olive) have morphed into full on war and repression maniacs seeking confrontation.

    Arbeiter, hörst du es nicht?

  • The German company’s presence in Xinjiang has long attracted attention in the West. Under pressure from investors and the German and U.S. governments, VW conducted an audit of the Urumqi plant, which it said last year found no evidence of human-rights abuses.

(…) After the pandemic hit, however, operations at the plant started to wind down and the factory no longer assembles vehicles.

The “proof” is “attracted attention in the West” and “under pressure from investors” - and then it found no such proof in the factory.

Why the wind down? Mentioned in the linked article from the year before:

His visit also highlighted Volkswagen’s other problem with the plant: It has fallen short of big plans the company and its joint-venture partner, the Shanghai government-owned SAIC Motor Corp., initially had for it.

“The business model has changed. There is currently no production of our own,” Mr. Brandstätter said this week after the first visit in nearly two years by a Volkswagen senior executive to the site. Chip-supply issues, as well as China’s Covid-19 curbs, contributed to the joint venture downsizing its workforce by almost two-thirds in recent years.

That time Brandstätter also said he saw nothing. Now, I’m not inclined to believe what some capitalist corpo guy says about working conditions, but this whole thing is obviously political pressure, because Germany does not want their big manufacturing corpos so deeply involved in China, as it draws capital and jobs away from the country, the whole Uyghur angle is used as a reason to build pressure.

The report asserts: “Global scrutiny of supply chains linked to Xinjiangfactories resulted in Volkswagen’s exit from Urumqi”, which is not true or if so only in the sense that the pressure resulted in the closure, but not actual abuses.

This is also clear, when you check other linked articles, for example under “a source of criticism in Germany”, which is a union leader lamenting about exactly that and also using the same age old allegations as an argument that are used every time, although economic interests are the real reason he opened his mouth in the first place.

Later in the report even notorious discredited one-man-source Adrian Zenz, ideologue and religious extremist himself is being used as source for their judgement. It’s a sham. It’s political propaganda.

This whole little one-page “report” does not bring anything new to the table. They made up some criteria and released a report towards the end of the year, so the myth is being kept alive and accounts like Hotznplotzn, that do literally nothing else other then posting Anti-China and Anti-Russia propaganda, can rile you up and manufacture consent against them.

Stop being so gullible. There is no new proof for anything. It’s a rehash to gain attention. OP is right.

  • Nobody approved of atrocities. But you demanded an oppressed people to resist in a specific way, that you personally see as morally just. But you have no idea about the lived reality on the ground. It would have been stronger to focus your condemning language towards the oppressor, that did and still every day is doing the same and uncountable worse and more atrocities. But you didn’t do that. You actually never did that.

You only ever reacted towards comments that did display Hamas in the slightest positive way. You never ever reacted on comments that did display Israel or the IDF in the slightest positive way, although they are the genociding settler-colonial actor here.

So either you are just reacting on conditioned indoctrination or are a chauvinist1 or are maybe even just a racist. Which is it?

1: Unwarranted bias, favoritism, or devotion to one’s own particular group, cause, or idea.

  • Sure bro, both sides are equally bad. If Israel would not genocide the Palestinians, imagine what Hamas would do to all the poor settlers and occupiers. If “the moment the Oct 7th attacks happened, everyone knew that the ordinary Palestinians were going to be slaughtered as revenge”, the Palestinians maybe just shouldn’t have resisted in the first place. Surely the accountability should not be on the oppressor, but the oppressed. Delete your genocide excusing, occupation supporting hasbara account, please.

  • Good thing you ignored all the arguments I made by dismissing my comment as an emotional reaction. You declaring yourself as a mostly neutral observer does not remedy your previous pseudo-neutral, but actually in favour of the aggressor language. I’m also not interested in low quality comparisons with other conflicts you have heavily biased perspectives on. You’ve shown the quality of your takes, thanks.

Your example in regards to the ANC is deceptive, as the situation in Palestine is not the same and will result in annihilation of the Palestinian people, as that is the stated goal of the Israeli goverment and also the stated goal of the zionist ideology. That’s different from the South African struggle, as the colonizers never actually did pursue the physical extermination of the Black majority as a demographic group. Your comment also does mischaracterize the process the ANC went through, as they did not simply “realize violence was not going to get them freedom” and then unilaterally suppress their armed struggle; instead, there was a negotiated process where the ANC agreed to suspend armed operations in 1990–91 in exchange for specific concessions from the apartheid regime (lifting the state of emergency, repealing key repressive laws, legalizing the ANC, etc.). Israel does not except something similar, as is proven by history and modern day events.

So again, you feign neutrality, but actually argue for the oppressor.

Stop trying, stop wasting my time, please proceed with account deletion, you are toxic as fuck.

  • Whattup Zionist, what is this, both-side-ception? Both side’s propaganda? BAHAHJAhwhhahahHAHAHAhahahahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAhahhaaaaaa. No seriously, stop wasting everyone’s time with that hasbara shit. You are argueing in favor of genocide, settler colonialism and apartheid. The fact that you actually use your life doing this kind of shit online is appalling and disgusting. You really should be ashamed. Now to the meat of your yapping.

Who’s doing propaganda for the Palestinians? The big and ubiqious Palestinian lobby groups? The paid internet users and bots doing the anti-semitism by criticising Israel? Boy, you’re paddling desinformation, borderline conspiracy theories, again, in favour of a genocidal settler colonial project.

Why does the actual victim, the genocided and suppressed people have to “acknowledge they have to sacrifice their absolutism and fanatisism”? Why is this a demand at all, as it’s clearly in favour of the rapist getting their raping tolerated by society? Why isn’t the only demand: The barbaric occupier has to stop genociding and suppressing the occupied and genocided people!? Your perspective is sickening.

The only party not wanting this “conflict” to stop is Israel, because there are still Palestinians in Palestine. Israel is the party that time and again does everything and anything to keep on killing and stealing and raping and celebrating it publically, like, you know, right this fucking moment.

Your venomous inhumanity makes me sick.
