TD’s systems are fast and generally solid (compare to Tangerine and their 30 minute Interac e-transfers), but this outage is a real kick in the nuts to many, and I sympathize.
I’m still salty that, 6 years after it was introduced to Canada, TD still refuses to adopt Google Pay. …Heck, I’m still salty for them buying out Canada Trust in 2000
Definitely don’t beat yourself up over it, every social media site evolves its own psychologically-optimum methods to hold our attention and keep us coming back.
This happens to be a golden opportunity for us to consider what exactly we want to get out of these services.
