haven’t been playing any “real games” since I took a detour recently to get caught up in Genshin for the new patch that just got released. The new country got me to play again unfortunately lol. I still want to continue my Borderlands 3 playthrough and Ace Attorney trilogy soon though.

Only Kojima is allowed to do graphics. I like what he’s cooking with Death Stranding 2.

Yeah, Three Hopes is excellent. I only did one route, Scarlet Blaze, and really liked it since it fleshed out Edelgard better compared to Crimson Flower in Three Houses. Shez was an awesome protag and fit in with the cast. Had fun playing as Shez, Petra, and Edelgard. I wish it got a DLC expansion like the other Warriors games, but they just moved on unfortunately.

I have like 200 hours in that game and probably wouldn’t be able to finish it with 200 more. Such a mindlessly fun game. It’s peak.

finished SIGNALIS last week and i’d say that i’m mixed on it. I didn’t like the main gameplay and this was my first survival horror experience so it might be a skill issue on my part. I didn’t like the extremely limited inventory, constant back tracking, and that the zombies revived themselves after a while so it made killing them pointless on a blind playthrough. I understand that that’s kinda baked into the genre tho. I’m gonna regret buying all those resident evil remasters on sale now lol

The aesthetics, graphics, and vibes were excellent and tense. I also liked the puzzles, especially the radio frequency puzzles. The story was told pretty convolutely, but i was engaged the whole time. The worldbuilding told through notes and other papers was pretty intriguing and interesting, but the anti-communism was pretty cringe.

so gameplay 6/10 for me, overall aesthetic and story 8/10

as someone that grew up in the South and was surrounded by evangelicals, Catholics were seen as weird/possibly satanic, depending on the person, and not really Christians because of the saints and Mary worship. They’re polytheistic since they don’t just focus on Jesus Christ.

been in my cave playing Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth for the past week. This game is massive. PS5 is telling me I’m just 50% in. Just got to another part that feels like could add another 20 hours just doing everything. It’s so good.

no, haven’t played the original or crisis core yet, but have them in my backlog. i kinda ran out of time to play them both before rebirth since i’ll probably get ff7 burnout if i start them now.

Finished up my replay of FF7 Remake along with the Yuffie DLC this time. My opinion hasn’t changed since my first playthrough, it’s still an amazing game 9.5/10. Glad i did this replay as a refresher and to get used to the combat again.

Yuffie was really fun to play as and I enjoyed her character and personality. I like how she thought that the regular Avalanche members were kinda lame and wanted to join up with Cloud’s group instead since they’re more radical lol. Yuffie is coming to steal Aerith’s role in the group with her ninja magic. That’s something I hope gets updated in the sequel, Aerith is kinda slow and clunky to play compared to Yuffie who has easy access to every magic type and can switch on the fly without having materia set. The league of legends minigame was surprisingly fun too. I really enjoyed the DLC and I’m super hyped for Rebirth.
