Non proprio. Piuttosto direi che Italia sia l’unico paese nel mondo dove il cameriere deride i clienti se chiedono qualcosa che non è conforme alla tradizione locale.

Ukraine@sopuli.xyz•'Cooling, not a reversal' — Why Bulgaria's new Russia-friendly leader is unlikely to become EU's next Orban
41·22 days agoThe thing is that in Bulgaria current “pro-EU” politicians (think Borisov and Peevski) are so directly dependent on Putin, that anyone who is just friendly with him looks already better. I know it is a superficial observation, but this is the vote of superficial people. As a president, Radev had plenty of opportunities to substantiate his anti-corruption rethoric, and he missed them. It makes little difference whether he did it out of bad intention or inability (which is often claimed, but hard to confirm).

8·3 months agoHow I miss the “do one thing and do it well” attitude in commercial services. Why do they have to convert any nice product into a s.itshow? It can’t be that investors want good services to become worse…
From how you describe your context (similar to mine), you don’t seem to need to backup images. Few local images mean little impact of possible failures.
We would have to make it sustainable eventually, since it’s the only practical way for passengers to travel between americas/australia/afroeurasia. I guess something hydrogen-based is the most likely candidate for reducing the carbon impact.
Hoovering and hydrofoils have been under-explored, but yes, speed is necessary for long-distance travel.
Defining “green” as energy consumption is quite exotic. More commonly it has to do with resource (carbon and others) footprint.

Hopefully we will finally see sustainable and seasonal fruits and vegetables be more affordable than greenhouse produce stuffed with artificial substances.
