  • Your comment reminded me:

I was looking up when the VP debate is in the US, lamenting the olden days when a bolded date would simply appear at the top of the results.

I’m just clicking results and skimming for the date in the 1st paragraph, but nope. Every site is like fucking recipe pages now with this nonsense filler.

Anyways, third result down, DDG gives me this verbose MSN bot-written trash. It actually listed all the dates (of which there were four), that were considered for the debate, but not selected. The 5th date listed in the paragraph was the debate date.

It was a perfect example of completely useless information that a human would never consider including in an answer.

  • I think the commonly accepted theory is that your brain is sorting through the day, through problems, through life. Even just playing. This makes sense seeing as how quickly humans fall apart without sleep.

I was so tired once, that all I could hear was The Spice Girls Wannabe, and just the chorus because I never actually listened to their music, just the repetition of:

YO, I’ᒪᒪ TEᒪᒪ YOᑌ ᗯᕼᗩT I ᗯᗩᑎT ᗯᕼᗩT I ᖇEᗩᒪᒪY, ᖇEᗩᒪᒪY ᗯᗩᑎT
SO TEᒪᒪ ᗰE ᗯᕼᗩT YOᑌ ᗯᗩᑎT, ᗯᕼᗩT YOᑌ ᖇEᗩᒪᒪY, ᖇEᗩᒪᒪY ᗯᗩᑎT

I vote left (Canadian), and I think she’s a menace to the environment. There’s this weird logical fallacy going around that if you dislike her, you must be a conservative. SloppyEngineer’s article says she shat out 2.8 tonnes of c02 emissions on this 28 mile trip-- it’s okay to call out hypocrisy, she doesn’t get a pass.

It’s nice that she got the GoP finally care about climate change though, haha.

    Edit: numbers

  • I didn’t know the word cryptid and looked to the root word “crypt”, then at the picture of Trump for context clues. I deduced it must mean something like someone half-dead, foot-in-the grave, etc.

But I mused that the root could be cryptic, too 🤔

    So I looked it up:

Any creature that may or may not exist. Sightings of various cryptids have been reported, but their reality has not been proved.

Thanks for a new word! Also, Sasquatch exists!!
