Haha, you’re good, mate. I don’t actually hate puns, i just found them to be annoying when I was trying to ask questions and people would make huge threads of puns instead of contributing to the conversation. I wouldn’t get annoyed with a pun centred magazine, because that’s what the magazine is about
No, I’m fine with puns if they’re good and I think they have their place. The problem was that people would make dumb puns and jokes to karma farm instead of engaging in what could have been an interesting conversation in a lot of circumstances.
“Thanks for the gold kind stranger!”
all the excessive awards
people making entire threads of stupid puns
typing out song lyrics
that dumb broken arms thing
Wasn’t national geographic bought by disney a couple years back?
i hope you check in with him in another 15 years to see what kind of vampire activities he’s up to
My first girlfriend was one of those cat girls. We were like 13 when we started dating. She was really unstable and ended up going to jail twice long after we broke up. I sure know how to pick them lol. In my defense, she was the only lesbian I knew at the time.
kbin has been my favourite so far
I deleted my 12 year old account the other month. Still have to delete my 7 year old alt account…thing is I can’t figure out how to delete my comments that were left in communities that went private, so that’s why I haven’t deleted it entirely yet.
Only thing I’m going to miss is the smaller communities I was a part of. The rest of it I won’t miss at all.
Oh yeah, it was seriously terrible. I’d log off for the rest of the day sometimes, because I’d be having a decent conversation and then get some stupid bot reply that was a reminder of the fact that I have a disability that I have no control over. It really wears on you after a while, not to mention the people who I’d be having a debate with in comments and instead of focusing on what I was trying to say, they’d focus on my grammar mistakes, but that’s another issue entirely. It’s also completely demoralising when I’m trying my very best to communicate and learn, and then you’re just hit with rude people and condescending bots.
I hated the grammar correcting bots, because I often misspell things due to being dyslexic. Or I used the wrong words, because I’d be trying to write in a language that wasn’t my first one. It got old reaaaal fast.
there aren’t minorities in those places for them to attack, which is what they want to do
