Yeah, hopefully once folks start posting how-to’s here, adding “lemmy” to the end will be a good replacement. Personally, I want to make some Godot tutorials to get some SEO on these lemmy instances lol

source for my hopium, plz?
hell nah. i don’t trust the zucc with anything he touches
To the player, I don’t think a whole lot. To the developers, I think it’ll help writer’s block, provide quick and dirty placeholders for dialogue, and create concept art. I think it’ll be a useful tool for indies who are working alone without a team, but I don’t think we’ll see AI-only dialogue or anything like that. It’ll help with the more time-consuming process and allow the dev to spend more time on development rather than some aspects of content creation imo.
Yeah I’m probably gonna end up doing my own instance at some point once I get my bearings around here, plus it’s just fun to learn new technology!
Yeah that was completely disgusting. Steve dun goofed yet again. And here I thought nothing could get worse than the whole Ellen Pao incident lol
If they went back to open-sourcing their stuff I’d feel better about using it. I don’t like the idea of one person being the keymaster to the entire site, holding the community hostage to their own whims. Lordship is so overrated imo. At least here with Lemmy it’s pretty easy to make your own place.
Jaded and burned out. AAA games are rarely worth the $60 anymore, and I’m finding that indie devs are outputting far superior experiences. AAA got too caught up in graphics rendering instead of core gameplay loop, and I can’t stand how many interactive movie games there are. They’re just not for me, and I sincerely hope more devs spin off their own studios from the AAA space so they can make the games they want instead if games the shareholders think everyone wants.
The compositing on this person’s channel is amazingly good, does a great job getting all the right angles in the game to match the footage, can’t imagine that’s exactly an easy process.
I will be completely shocked if this works with Steam out of the box. Can’t imagine Apple wants this to be available outside it’s walled garden, and would likely keep its apps and games only available on their store. If earlier reports are true that this product was rushed, that doesn’t exactly bode well for Apple.
A gimmick that’s overstaying it’s welcome. Why buy a premium phone that has more ways it can break that has less software support?
