Yeah but you could piss off EVERYONE if you said “in solidarity with the people of Gaza, and indigenous people everywhere, we will be celebrating the original pagan version of Easter from before Christianity wiped out countless indigenous European cultures.” And then just have a completely normal easter with the rabbit and the eggs and no jesus the same as always.
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t: The endless backlash of not celebrating easter would be as tiresome as the rage over its celebration.
