Turning off the fyp algorithm is probably the dumbest thing you can do tbh.
It’s not like it becomes unranked, just that it’s not tailored to you at all.
So you’re way more likely to see shitty content.
A booring feed is less likely to result in doom scrolling though.
“doom scrolling” is such bs. “doom watching TV” “doom playing videogames”
Enough with the reactionary fear of something just cause you don’t get it. Keep up with the times or get left behind.
The fyp algorithm is the entire point of TikTok. Without it you might as well use YouTube in incognito mode or something.
