Not quite, you have to do the spoiler formatting as shown in my comment:

No, spoiler (and image) syntax is still a mess.
Spoilers are not standardized on Lemmy every client can choose to ignore it and there are different syntaxes in use. On eternity it’s not a spoiler btw
