The fact that combatants are dying in droves over there is readily accessible knowledge, as is the fact that “volunteer fighters” are being under-equipped and basically being used as disposable meat shields, and nothing is forcing them to go there, at some point you have to just stop giving a crap and let them win their stupid prizes.
It’s like those people screaming for Hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin (damn, the venn diagram between those people and “volunteer fighters” must be, like, a circle). After all the press coverage about how they don’t work and people are dying from them, I think anyone who still gulps down a bottle of the stuff to treat COVID and dies of it is just part of nature, as is the Volunteers for Ukraine thing.
