So to maintain their sense of self-worth and value, they push the same western-supremacy/chauvinism as their own country’s colonial projects.
The US (as the leader and main inheritor of the colonial tradition) doesn’t allow peer competitors, and as the socialist model in China is proving superior to the capitalist one, westerners must either 1) deny reality, plug their ears, isolate themselves from the successes of socialism, believe every single thing their media says about China, and turn further inwards into western/white supremacists, or 2) try to look past the lies their media tells them, and accept that maybe other countries don’t need to get rich using the colonialist model.
