We can meme and be terrified simultaneously, the human mind is a wonderful thing. I’m happy to see the US hegemony weakening, but I have a lot of fear of what the beast may do while going down.
I think it’s akin to gallows humor. In dark times you need to make humor when you can even if things are horrible :(
