Their cult members steal Jesus’ shawl to make a clone on a woman they kidnapped, who escapes. But they let her think she’s free and spy on her. When the kids grown up a bit, long story short they free the devil so he can possess the Jesus clone, since only his body could hold the devil’s power. But plot twist! Jesus resurrected when his clone was born, and God knew the plan. The goal was always to have the devil choose whether or not to possess nova Jesus. If he did, he’d get trapped in the body of Christ, unable to possess it but also unable to escape, and become bound to it. So once new Jesus dies, so will the devil.
