Still weird tho, SI units are made to be completely consistent at all times.

It’s like when you read that someone has 1k dollars, or 1kk = 1m = 1,000,000. You should be as familiar with kilograms as grams… It’s literally just a multiplier.

Its literally 1000 grams, kilo means 1000. Just like kilobytes. It’s like when you read that someone has 1k dollars, or 1kk = 1m = 1,000,000.
