Honestly doesn’t seem that weird to me, given I grew up eating voileipäkakku which is literally “a sandwich cake”.
Grandma made really good ones, but I only learned to like them as an adult. RIP granny
Like so
I approve of this.
Here’s a BLT one.
Whelp, now I need to move to Finland
There’s a lot to say about Finland, positive and negative, but I don’t think anyone has ever come here for the food.
Our national dish is “Karelian Stew”, which is just cubes of pork and beef in boiled water with a spoonful of salt.
But the sandwich cakes can be nice.
Also with the talk about all the egg prices… 10 euros for four of these.
This looks like something that would have been served at a family party in the early 70’s
in jello, too
Okay, that just about made me hurl - can we not add any more ingredients, please?

Cheez whiz cum, who wants some?
The sausage… is raw…
Raw doggin’ it.
If you are prepared to eat this, then salmonella and parasitic worm infection are the least of your problems.
