He did include Hauts-de-France, Normandy and Brittany though. Which is even more strange.
I assumed it was some kind of Vichy France thing, but then there’d be more included.
I thought it was some brainworms about territories held by the british in the medieval past but even then it doesn’t match perfectly, it’s weird
history chud probably only included these regions since they saw heavy germanic tribal presence in the past. Like the Frisians, Burgundians, Scandinavians and the Franconians.
Normans are suposedly viking decendants, but if you include them why not sicilia and naples? Or russia? Not white enough probably.
