Reads almost like a parody of anti-communists. But then also, if they are indeed 16, they are an actual kid and speaking from experience, when I was that young, I sometimes had views that were little more than parroting something a parent had said. This isn’t to say kids can’t think or can’t have an insightful view on something, but they’re very vulnerable to repeating a variation of what they’re told, more so than adults (adults can do it too, but I would say there’s usually more rationalizing going on in-between hearing something and repeating it when an adult parrots something, cause there’s more of a process of fitting it into an established worldview/framework). And this doesn’t read like a reasoned point of view, it reads like something a kid might say after their parent said, “Socialism would take away [parent’s] job and put us out on the street.”

Let us assume they know the diffenrece between the stages of socialism and communism (they almost certainly do not): Indeed, their exaomple would not exist under communism. Because private ownership would not exist and everyone would live well anyways.
