Hey, for the past couple of weeks I’ve had issues with comments loading. It started as only every now and then but now it’s almost every post, and it’s not specific to certain instances. There have been two (maybe three) updates during this time and it has gotten worse with every update.
It just shows the loading icon in the comment field forever, tried waiting over 20 minutes a couple of times.
I’m unsure I’ll even be able to read the comments on this post so I have to use another app for a bit until it’s fixed (if it’s a problem with the app itself or something on my end).
Only thing I can think of that might have caused this on my end is my system wide adblocker (Adguard) but I’ve tried turning it off and restarting the app and my phone but the issue still persists
Thanks for the report. Looking into it now. If you could provide your settings, that might help speed up the investigation. To copy your settings, tap Settings > Import & Export settings > Export settings. Then uncheck “Include database” and tap “Copy to clipboard”. You can either DM me your settings or post them here. Thank you.
I was unable to reproduce the reported but however I did find a bug where the app was not correctly displaying an error message. When comments fail to load the app would display a loading spinner instead of the error message. I will fix this in the next update.
I did some more testing, I uninstall adguad and used the app for a bit and so far all comments have loaded. Gonna continue to try it and see if it stays that way. After that I’ll reinstall it and add Summit as a whitelisted app and see how that works. Thanks!
That’s so weird.
Hey, sorry for the late answer, here’s it is:

Are you still having this issue or is the issue fixed as of the latest update?
