    Hey i don’t mean to sound rude, but isn’t this the definition of “local news”? It isn’t a huge disaster involving many casualties or even injuries. Even the article states that the consequences are queues for local commuters so its very localized to one state not even America let alone the world, yes? I feel like this should be in the affected states/cities own community, not the world news one.

      Id say it effects the whole north east corridor which is a lot of people. It’s way more important than a mass shooting or something.

        I wouldn’t say that a traffic accident without any casualties or injured which only causes commuter delays is “way more important” that a mass shooting where potentially there could be tens of victims no?

        Also, still with the effect that you mention it seems like a minor-mid level news that, again, it probably doesn’t even affect the whole country. I still don’t see it as something that should be in worldnews. I’m open to input though I’m the first to accept that i am not the most knowledgeable about american stuff.
