PLEASE PETWas indeed getting much petting.
I need one for my terrier mix. He’s desperate for attention at all hours of the day, and if we have left the house for any length of time, he whines when we get home until he gets pets. Does the same to new people, whines until they pet him.
And he will push into your side/leg/face/whatever while arching his back, and if you don’t get the hint he will stare at you and make petting motions over his head and on your hand.

seriously. i was walking her, on a leash, in my complex and another couple and their golden not on a leash come from the other direction and said “don’t worry he’s friendly” and i said “she hates dogs, you might want to hold him” and sure enough they did nothing to heel their dog and he got in my dog’s face and got a nipping for the trouble. that poor dog
i’m annoyed by people who thinks all dogs are automatically best buddies with all other dogs
